Tough Mudder Ready to Get you Dirty!

Tough Mudder Ready—

Prepare to Get Dirty on August 4th and 5th!

Tall Pines ATV Park in Andover is becoming known far and wide as one of the best destination sites for Tough Mudder competition. The many acres of hilly woodlands and fields, atop of some of the best views in all of Allegany County makes the grueling obstacles perhaps a tiny bit less stressful because of the beauty, but don’t let what your eyes see as beautiful fool you; you will burn, you will tire, and you will get down and dirty!

This year there is a brand-new course of trails being readied for the event. There are three choices of participation:

  • 5 Miles with 13 Obstacles
  • 10 Miles with 20 Obstacles
  • 3 Miles with 10 Obstacles

Why Tough Mudder, and why is it so popular? The reasons are many and varied. Some people participate to prove they can, some do it with a group of friends, others do it to raise awareness for veterans, there are those who do it for a family or friend in their memory, or to raise awareness for a personal callout to any number of medical illnesses.

It is an event of toughness, strength, and endurance. It is also one of bonding with other participants where everyone helps each other over and through the tougher obstacles as needed. The reward at the finish line is a simple orange colored Tough Mudder headband. The more times you compete in a Tough Mudder Event can earn you another colored headband. What really blows your mind is seeing the tenacity of those who will actually run the course more than once during the event—they are truly the toughest among all the mudders!

From young to old, male and female, this event is for the physically fit. It takes a trained physique as well as a conditioned mental state to successfully navigate the courses. So, if you think you have what it takes to be a Tough Mudder participant get your entry ticket now for the Western New York destination at Tall Pines ATV Park in Andover, NY.
